Terms and Conditions

If you cancel a Small Group Walking Tour more than 24 hours in advance, you will get a full refund.

For Small Group Walking Tours, a  cancellation fee of 100% applies for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, and also in the event of a no-show.

Our Private tours are all bespoke, and therefore have separate terms and conditions.

Any private tour cancelled with more than 7 days notice get a full refund, minus a 20% booking fee and minus any costs (entrance tickets, labour and any other associated costs).

Private tours cancelled with less than 7 days notice are dealt with on a case-by-case basis by Local Eyes Tours and any refundable amount is at the discretion of Local Eyes Tours.

Privacy

Local Eyes Tours will never sell your personal information to any third party. We reserve the right to use data given to us for marketing and research purposes. For more information please consult our privacy policy.

Health and Safety

Our guides are very experienced in looking after each one of our visitors and are required to warn you of any possible risks. All tour participants are responsible for their own safety and well-being throughout each tour. We ask that you pay attention when crossing roads or moving over uneven ground and that you do so with your own personal safety in mind. Any children (under 16 years old) must be accompanied by an adult.

Changes to a Tour

Local Eyes Tours reserves the right to make necessary changes to any tour, or part of a tour, should circumstances beyond our control dictate. We will contact you if there are any major changes to a tour and will offer you the option of either switching to another date or tour, or of receiving a full refund. In the event of any last minute changes, such as through road closures, we will let you know at the start of the tour.

Bad Weather

Due to the weather Scotland enjoys, our tours take place in sunshine or in rain.  Please ensure that every member of your party is aware of this and ask them to dress according to the weather forecast. Bad weather alone does not constitute an appropriate reason for cancelling.

Disruptive Behaviour

Anyone whose behaviour is disruptive or is spoiling the enjoyment of a tour for other tour participants will be asked to leave the tour. No refunds will be given should this happen.

Marketing & Promotion

It is illegal to use any of our photos, logos or other promotional material without the prior permission from Local Eyes Tours Ltd.
